Trent University, located in Peterborough, Ontario on the beautiful Otonabee River, has been my home for the past two years. I am a second year history major here at Trent. I think my favourite drinking game of all time is the game called Queens. If you've never had the opportunity to play here are the rules: Start with a plain deck of cards. Aces are Social - Everyone drinks one. 2's - 5's - You may give away that number of drinks. Give them all to the same person if you want a war or divide them up between the players. 6's - 9's - You have to drink these all by yourself...Good luck! 10's - You're the thumbmaster!! At anytime, put your thumb anywhere on your body (preferably the face) and the last person to copy you has to drink! Jack's - Make-a-Rule: This one gets a little bit out of hand sometimes...Make up a rule - any rule - and everyone has to follow it. If not, guess what...they drink! Rules last for the whole game unless someone makes a rule to cancel another one. Queen's - Ask questions. Any questions...usually the dirtier the better. You're trying to ask someone a question in the hopes that they will either answer or be too stunned and hesitate. Answering or hesitating = drinking! If you don't want to drink and someone has asked you a question just ask someone else a question. It goes around like this 'til someone screws up. King's - Catergoies!! Name a category (eg. types of deodorants, names of the Smurfs,...). Everyone must think up something from this category and say it on their turn. If not...guess what!! | Queens!! I'm originally from a small town called Finch, Ontario which is about 45 minutes from Ottawa, Canada. In my spare time I love to be outdoors or out on the town. Camping, swimming, SCUBA diving, listening to lots of different music, and socializing are some of my most preferred pass times. | ||||||||||||||||
